Best Haitian Restaurant in Elizabeth

I recently visited Elvita’s Kitchen – Creole Latin Cuisine, and it was an amazing experience! From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth and welcoming atmosphere. The flavors are bold, authentic, and perfectly balanced — you can truly taste the passion in every dish. The Creole and Latin fusion is outstanding. The rice and main dishes were seasoned beautifully, and everything tasted fresh and homemade. The portions were generous, and the presentation was impressive. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. If you’re looking for flavorful, soulful food with great service, Elvita’s Kitchen is definitely worth a visit. I’ll absolutely be coming back! Highly recommended! 🔥🍽️

If you’re looking for authentic Haitian food, this place is a hidden gem! 🇭🇹🔥 From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warm hospitality and the incredible aroma of real Haitian cooking. The griot was perfectly crispy and juicy, the diri kole ak pwa was rich and flavorful, and the pikliz added the perfect spicy kick. Every bite tasted like homemade Haitian food made with love. The portions are generous, the ingredients are fresh, and the service makes you feel like family. It’s not easy to find Haitian restaurants that truly keep the traditional taste, but this one absolutely delivers. If you want real Haitian cuisine that reminds you of home, this restaurant is a must-visit. I will definitely be coming back and bringing friends with me!

The food is to die for. All of the flavors was there from the rice to the veggies, and the fish. And the customer service was top tier.

The best of the best!!!! This is the best restaurant I've ever been to! I've never left a restaurant genuinely happy until I found Elvita's!!!! It's clean, the workers are down to earth, very respectful, attentive and kind, they care about their food!! Their ingredients are fresh, this was the best empanada, jerk chicken and rice/beans I've ever had!!! I can't compliment them enough!!! PLEASE check them out!!

Always A+ for me. The food is how GOOD FOOD IS SUPPOSED TO HIT!!!! The service is ALWAYS top tier... Their oxtails is truly one of my favs. The protein veggies they make(i dont know the name, sorry) i just know it has chayote in it, is my MUST,ALL THE TIME. Their plantains are always cooked how i like them and that rice with beanssss!!!!!( DELICIOSO).....
